The Veil of Assumptions: Challenging the Shadows of Prejudice and Bias

Poetry Image

Underneath the same sky, we all stand,
Yet shadows of bias cloud our land,
With eyes that judge and hearts that claim,
We fail to see, we’re all the same.

From whispers of doubt and fear’s tight grip,
We build walls that cause us to slip,
Away from unity, from love’s embrace,
Let empathy guide us to a better place.

In diversity’s garden, let us sow,
Seeds of understanding, let compassion grow,
For in every soul, a story resides,
Beyond the surface, where truth hides.

So let us break the chains of old,
With voices strong and hearts bold,
Together, we’ll rewrite the tale,
Of a world where love and justice prevail.
