Injustice and Inequality: A World Unbalanced

Poetry Image

In shadows cast by power’s hand,
The cries of many go unheard.
A world where justice takes a stand,
Yet often, it seems quite absurd.

In lands where wealth and privilege gleam,
The poor are left to fight alone.
The dreams they have, a distant dream,
As hearts grow cold as if from stone.

Equality, a fleeting ghost,
Eluding grasp, just out of reach.
The ones with least, who need it most,
Find solace only in their speech.

Until we stand as one, united,
And break the chains of old regimes,
The scales of justice stay unrighted,
And equity remains in dreams.
