The Silent Cry of Young Hearts in Early Marriage

Poetry Image

In the tender bloom of youth, they say “I do,”
With dreams unformed, and hearts so true.
Yet shadows gather in their eyes so bright,
As childhood fades into the night.

Promises made under a sky so vast,
Yet time reveals, they move too fast.
Innocence lost in a world so harsh,
As burdens weigh on spirits’ march.

They hold hands tight, through joy and pain,
But silent tears fall like summer rain.
Unseen by those with eyes of stone,
Who cannot hear the silent moan.

Dreams deferred, in the name of love,
They seek solace from stars above.
In the quiet night, they find their voice,
To reclaim their right, to have a choice.
