When We Became Strangers, Heartbeats Apart, The End of Us, Shadows of Yesterday

Poetry Image

Once we danced in the glow of moonlight,
Now we walk on paths that never meet,
The echoes of our laughter fade into the night,
Leaving behind a silence, cold and sweet.

Your eyes, once my guiding stars,
Now distant, like dreams that never were,
We built castles in the air, but here we are,
Left with memories, a painful blur.

In every whispered word, I find our past,
A love that felt eternal, now gone too fast,
The promises we made, they didn’t last,
And in the ruins, I stand aghast.

Yet in this heartache, I find a way,
To cherish what was ours, come what may,
For even in parting, there’s beauty, they say,
A love once known, will never truly decay.
