Whispers of Old Life

Poetry Image

In the echoes of time, where shadows play,
Lies the whispers of old life, a forgotten day.
Memories dance in the twilight’s embrace,
Tracing the lines of a once familiar face.

The streets we roamed, the dreams we shared,
In the hush of the night, our souls were bared.
Laughter and tears, in a delicate weave,
In the tapestry of time, we both believe.

Now the silence speaks of yesteryears,
Of joys and sorrows, of hopes and fears.
In the quiet corners of my mind,
Old life lingers, gentle and kind.

As the stars paint stories in the sky,
I feel the presence of days gone by.
In the heart’s deep chamber, old life stays,
A cherished relic of golden days.
