The Hilarity of Age: A Birthday Ode

Poetry Image

Wrinkles and gray, a badge of pride,
Each line a tale, no need to hide.
Glasses perched upon the nose,
Oh, the joys of growing old!

Creased laughter lines, a map of fun,
Celebrating life’s marathon run.
Candles crowd the birthday cake,
More wishes with each breath we take.

Jokes get better with every year,
Wisdom whispered, loud and clear.
Friends and family, joy and cheer,
The golden age we hold so dear.

Gifts of humor, wit, and grace,
All the laughter we embrace.
So here’s to you, another year,
Growing old with love and cheer.
