The Shadows That Envelop My Soul

Poetry Image

In the depths where light cannot reach,
Lies a silence, so cold and bleak.
Whispers of sorrow, echoes of pain,
In this endless, darkened domain.

Each breath a struggle, each step a fight,
Through the eternal, unyielding night.
Hope flickers faintly, then fades away,
As shadows consume the light of day.

Memories haunt, like ghosts in the dark,
Leaving scars, a lasting mark.
In this abyss, where dreams decay,
The heart grows weary, led astray.

Yet in this void, a glimmer remains,
A fragile thread, amidst the chains.
For even in darkness, a spark can ignite,
The dawn that follows the longest night.
