The Masks They Wear, The Lies They Share

Poetry Image

In the shadows, they spin their tales,
Crafting illusions with whispered gales,
Promises woven with threads so fine,
Truth buried deep, beneath their line.

Smiles that glisten, eyes that deceive,
They make you trust, make you believe,
But behind the mask, a heart so cold,
A story of deceit, silently told.

In the dance of shadows, they find their stage,
Masters of disguise, in every age,
But the truth, though hidden, seeks the light,
And in the end, reveals the night.

So beware the charm, the honeyed voice,
For in their words, you have no choice,
Seek the truth, let not them sway,
For liars and fakes, will lead astray.
