The Dance of Parabolas in the Quadratic Night

Poetry Image

In the silence of algebra’s embrace,
We find the quadratic’s gentle grace,
Parabolas rise, then softly fall,
Echoing mysteries of x and y’s call.

With each coefficient’s silent plea,
Roots of the equation set free,
They speak of symmetry so profound,
Where vertexes in the graph are found.

Discriminant whispers truth or lie,
Whether solutions touch the sky,
Or sink beneath numeric waves,
In the depths where algebra braves.

The quadratic’s curve, a story told,
In language of numbers, bold and old,
From axis to vertex, the journey’s clear,
A mathematical dance, sincere.
