The Shadows of Prejudice and Bias

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where bias hides,
Ignorance and fear reside.
Prejudiced hearts close their doors,
Unseen the pain that others endure.

Eyes that judge with narrow sight,
Blind to the beauty in the light.
A world divided, torn apart,
By walls built from a hardened heart.

Voices silenced, dreams denied,
By prejudice, so deep inside.
Yet hope remains, a spark, a flame,
To break the chains, to end the shame.

Let love and understanding grow,
Replace the hate, let kindness flow.
For in the end, we’re all the same,
United by a common name.
