The Meeting of Earth’s Edges: Where Plates Converge and Diverge

Poetry Image

Beneath the oceans, beneath the land,
Where tectonic plates extend their hand,
They meet, they part, in silent grace,
Marking the Earth’s timeless embrace.

At the rift where they diverge,
New land is born, a primal surge,
Magma rises, cools, and forms,
The planet’s surface ever transforms.

Converging plates, they clash and fold,
Mountains rise, their stories told,
Earthquakes rumble, the ground does shake,
A testament to the forces at stake.

Transform boundaries, they slide and grind,
A dance of nature, so intertwined,
Each movement, a whisper of time,
The Earth’s eternal, rhythmic rhyme.
