A Whisper Against the Chains of Oppression

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where silence dwells,
The cries of hearts, unheard, rebel.
Beneath the weight of iron might,
They seek the dawn, they seek the light.

The chains of fear, they bind so tight,
Yet dreams of freedom fuel their fight.
In every breath, a spark ignites,
A whisper grows to pierce the night.

The hands that grasp, that push them down,
Will one day fall, will one day drown.
For hope is strong, and hearts are fierce,
Their songs of justice, skies will pierce.

So rise, oh souls, in darkness bound,
Let not the silence be your shroud.
For in your unity, you’ll find,
The strength to leave the chains behind.
