The Gentle Embrace of Laziness

Poetry Image

In the soft glow of morning light,
I find solace in a realm of stillness,
Where dreams whisper in the silence,
And time drifts on in gentle flight.

The world outside may rush and roar,
But here, in this quiet sanctuary,
I savor the gift of sweet repose,
And let my weary spirit soar.

No burdens weigh upon my mind,
As I bask in this tranquil embrace,
Where every moment stretches wide,
And peace is found in idle grace.

So let the world turn in its haste,
While I remain in this tender haze,
Embraced by the warmth of laziness,
And wrapped in its unhurried praise.
