Silent Shadows: Unheard Cries in the Gloom

Poetry Image

In the corners of a silent room,
Where whispers of the past still loom,
A cry for justice, loud and clear,
Yet falls on ears that do not hear.

The chains of bias, strong and tight,
Bind dreams that once soared to height,
In the shadows, silent tears,
For a future veiled in fears.

Voices stifled, dreams delayed,
In a world where worth is weighed,
By norms that blind and hearts that cage,
The silent war we still engage.

Yet in the dark, a spark ignites,
A flame for equal human rights,
For every soul deserves to shine,
Beyond the chains, beyond the line.
