The Dance of Raindrops on Silent Streets

Poetry Image

Beneath the gray and whispering sky,
The raindrops dance, they fall and fly.
Upon the silent streets they play,
And turn the gloom to softest grey.

Each drop a tale, a song, a dream,
That flows within the river’s stream.
They kiss the leaves, they touch the ground,
And weave a symphony profound.

The thunder’s roar, the lightning’s flash,
Herald the rain’s triumphant dash.
Yet in its wake, a calm descends,
As nature’s gentle hand extends.

When rain departs, the earth will gleam,
And life resumes as in a dream.
But in the heart, the memory stays,
Of rain that danced on quiet days.
