In the abyss of night, I wander alone,
Each step a whisper, a muted groan,
The stars above, they seem to mock,
As I traverse this endless, rocky walk.
My heart, a cavern, hollow and deep,
Where echoes of sorrow endlessly seep,
Dreams once vibrant, now faded and torn,
In the silence of despair, I mourn.
The days blend together, a monotonous gray,
Each dawn a reminder of dismay,
The weight of existence, a heavy shroud,
Under which my spirit is eternally bowed.
Yet I move forward, though weary and worn,
In search of a light thatâs yet to be born,
Through the shadows of an unseen horizon,
I yearn for a dawn where hope can arise again.
