The Painful Silence: A Journey Through Grief and Loss

Poetry Image

In the echo of your laughter, I find my tears,
A silence so deep, it drowns my fears.
The world spins on, ignorant of my pain,
And I am left with memories, in a ceaseless rain.

Your gentle touch, now a ghostly breeze,
Whispers of love, that put my heart at ease.
Yet now I stand, in this void so vast,
Holding onto shadows, echoes of the past.

The sun sets, yet rises with no light,
Each dawn a reminder, of your eternal flight.
In dreams, I seek your tender embrace,
Waking to the harshness, of an empty space.

Though you’re gone, your spirit lingers near,
In every beat of my heart, I feel you here.
A mother’s love, transcends the earthly bind,
Forever in my soul, eternally intertwined.
