The Silent Whisper of a Cigarette

Poetry Image

In the dim light of a fading day,
A cigarette whispers secrets gray,
Its smoke curls in a dance so slow,
Telling tales of hearts that glow.

With every puff, a memory ignites,
Moments past in embered lights,
It burns away the fleeting time,
In hazy rings of whispered rhyme.

The ash falls like forgotten dreams,
Scattered thoughts in smoky streams,
A silent partner in solitude,
A brief escape, a fleeting mood.

But as the final ember dies,
The whispers fade, the silence lies,
A cigarette’s brief, tender kiss,
Leaves behind a smoky abyss.
