Worrying Too Much: A Silent Storm in the Mind

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, echoes of doubt arise,
Whispers of fears, they haunt my tired eyes,
A storm within, it brews without a sound,
In the labyrinth of thoughts, I feel profoundly bound.

Every shadow casts a shade of dread,
Questions unasked, answers unfed,
The weight of “what ifs” and “maybes” grow,
In the garden of the mind, seeds of worry sow.

The dawn breaks, yet the clouds remain,
Threads of anxiety, an endless chain,
In the heart’s chamber, whispers persist,
In the realm of overthinking, I cannot resist.

Yet hope remains, a flicker in the dark,
A gentle reminder, a soothing spark,
To breathe, to trust, and to let go,
In the ebb and flow, peace will surely grow.
