In the Shadows of My Own Mind

Poetry Image

Drifting through the corridors of time and space,
I find echoes of myself, lost without a trace.
In the mirror of my soul, reflections fade away,
I’m a stranger in my own life, night and day.

The whispers of my past, now distant and faint,
I chase the shadows, but they show no restraint.
Where did I go, where did I hide?
In the labyrinth of thoughts, I reside.

Searching for the pieces of a broken dream,
I wander through the silence, or so it seems.
The person I was, now a ghostly figure,
Lost in the pages of a forgotten scripture.

Can I reclaim the fragments of my soul?
Or am I destined to remain unwhole?
In the shadows of my own mind, I roam,
Hoping one day, I’ll find my way home.
