When the Days Turn Quiet, My Heart Remembers

Poetry Image

In the silence of the night, your voice lingers,
Like a whisper carried by the winds,
Echoes of laughter and stories untold,
Wrapped in memories that never grow old.

The chair you once sat in now feels cold,
A void that no words can ever fill,
I search the stars for a sign of you,
Hoping to find solace in the sky’s hue.

The days are longer, the nights more still,
Without your presence, there’s an empty space,
I hold onto moments when you were near,
And find strength in each fallen tear.

Though you are gone, your love remains,
A guiding light through life’s dark lanes,
In my heart, you live forever more,
A father’s love, an eternal core.
