Shattered Dreams, Silent Cries, Heart in Pieces, Darkness Inside

Poetry Image

When the night is silent and the stars refuse to shine,
My heart whispers tales of sorrow, entwined.
Shattered dreams lie scattered on the floor,
Each piece a memory, a wound that’s sore.

The echoes of laughter now haunt my mind,
In the hollow silence, solace I cannot find.
Tears trace paths down a weary face,
In this broken state, strength seems out of place.

The world around me moves in blurred haste,
While I stay frozen, trapped in my own waste.
Love once vibrant, now turned to dust,
In this dark void, I seek to trust.

Yet in this brokenness, a flicker of light,
A whisper of hope in the darkest night.
For in the fragments, a new dawn may rise,
From the ashes, a phoenix flies.
