When Love Turns Bitter: A Tale of Bad Mothers

Poetry Image

In the shadows of the night, where secrets lie untold,
A mother’s love, once warm and bright, has now grown cold.
Whispers of neglect, and cries of pain unheard,
The innocence of childhood, by cruel hands, deterred.

Promises of care, now broken shards of glass,
A heart once pure, now scarred from what’s amassed.
Dreams turned to nightmares, in a world so bleak,
The silent screams of children, whose futures seem so weak.

A mother’s touch, now a source of dread,
Where love should bloom, despair has spread.
The bond of blood, tarnished by deceit,
In the heart’s core, the darkness finds its seat.

Yet in the shadow, a glimmer of hope remains,
The strength to rise above, to break these chains.
For even in the darkest night, the dawn will break,
And from the ashes, a new future we shall make.
