The Weight of Sorrow in a Silent Night, When Tears Become Silent Whispers, Beneath the Moon’s Cold Gaze, A Heart’s Lament

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the night, sorrow’s weight bears down,
Shadows dance with memories, of joys now turned to frowns.
Silent whispers fill the air, echoes of a heart’s lament,
Beneath the cold and distant moon, emotions are unspent.

Tears fall like silent rain, on a heart that’s void of cheer,
Each drop a silent scream, in the darkness, crystal clear.
The stars above seem distant, as they twinkle in the sky,
Reminding of the times, when sorrow was but a sigh.

The night is a canvas, painted with hues of blue and gray,
A reflection of the soul, lost and led astray.
Each breath a painful reminder, of what was and what is gone,
As the heart beats slowly, to a melancholic song.

Yet in the depth of sorrow, a glimmering light appears,
A hope that in the morrow, there will be an end to tears.
For even in the darkest night, a dawn will surely break,
Bringing with it the promise, of a new day to awake.
