The Silent Struggle of Poverty’s Embrace

Poetry Image

In shadows deep where dreams do fade,
Lies a world in poverty’s shade.
Whispers of hunger, cries of pain,
Echo through the endless rain.

Children with eyes that hope once knew,
Now search for warmth, for something true.
Hands that tremble, hearts that yearn,
For a world where fortunes turn.

Streets of sorrow, homes of despair,
Where dreams dissolve in the cold night air.
Yet still they rise, with weary grace,
In poverty’s harsh, unyielding embrace.

But through the darkness, a spark remains,
A glimmer of hope in life’s vast plains.
For even in struggle, spirits can soar,
Seeking a life that’s something more.
