Echoes of Yesteryears

Poetry Image

In the golden light of autumn’s embrace,
Memories drift like leaves in a gentle dance,
Whispering tales of days long past,
And shadows of a time so vast.

The scent of rain on sun-warmed earth,
Takes me back to moments of mirth,
Laughter ringing through the air,
In places that are no longer there.

Faces fade but feelings stay,
Etched in the heart in a timeless way,
The echoes of yesteryears remain,
A bittersweet mix of joy and pain.

As twilight falls on another day,
I cherish the past in a wistful way,
For in those fleeting, cherished times,
Life was a series of gentle rhymes.
