Letting Go: A Symphony of Farewell

Poetry Image

In twilight’s gentle embrace, I found your face,
A memory etched in time, a love so divine.
Yet in the silence, we drift apart,
Two souls once close, now worlds apart.

The moon whispers secrets of our past,
Stars blink away the tears that last.
In the stillness, I let go,
With a heart heavy, but free to grow.

Love’s sweet melody turns to a ballad of sorrow,
Each note a step towards a new tomorrow.
Though shadows of you linger in my heart,
I’ll cherish the love, even as we part.

In the dance of life, we find and lose,
Embracing the pain, we choose to unchoose.
Letting go, yet holding on to memories,
A bittersweet symphony of what used to be.
